Hallow - a Weird West Artbook

Against the backdrop of the Grand Union Railroad’s steel-bound, coal-hearted expansion into the west, the small and haunted town of Hallow becomes the unexpected battleground of a showdown between relentless modernity and the bloodsoaked past, between the real and the less-than-real, between people and the things that were here before them.

It is 1867, and the time of reckoning has come to Hallow.

Hallow is a 35-page artbook, collecting the dusty, Weird West story of vengeance and forgiveness, of penance and consequences; of the cruelty of progress and the poisoned comfort of the past.

This began as an exercise in character-design that ran away from me and expanded into something that is part artbook, part pitch-bible for a weird west tv-show that does not exist, and never will. It contains character portraits and presentations, 'screenshots' from the hypothetical tv-show, setting design, a fictional episode-list, and a collection of development sketches.

The bundle also includes a 1920x1080 desktop wallpaper of one of the fake screenshots.
