Mock Up Jam: Dandelion Drifters Guild
A downloadable game
This is an age of adventure, where brave souls band together to form grand companies and guilds, and set out into the world - to explore, to slay monsters, and aid those in need. History is being written, great discoveries are being made, and there are people out there forging their own legends.
Ivy Blackthorn is not a legend - and she's not sure she wants to be.
But she knows one thing for certain.
She's tired of waiting for someone else to help her.
Dandelion Drifters Guild is a (hypothetical) strategy RPG, in which players take on the role of Ivy Blackthorn - a young girl who rolls up her sleeves and founds her own adventuring guild. And while everyone else is busy doing grand deeds of legend, she busies herself helping the residents of her little town, looking after the people most famous adventurers and heroes pass by and ignore - and opens her doors to any rootless drifter who might need a place to belong.
As a player, you will follow not only Ivy's own story of protecting what matters most; you will also build and expand your own adventurer's guild, solve problems great and small for the people around you, and recruit new members of your guild - and explore their stories, too.
Dandelion Drifters Guild is not a real game. It is the idea of a game currently living on my brain, but it does not yet exist. I hope some day it might, but right now I lack the skills to make it - and the time required to learn. I present to you here the first bits of visual exploration I've done for it.
The Dandelion Drifters Guild concepts were made for the Mock Up Jam, where participants were challenged to create fake screenshots for a game that may or may not ever exist.

Damn, I would like to see this game in action! This looks like my kind of game.
This looks brilliant. Hopefully comments won't get swarmed with non-readers complaining about how there's not a game to DL ;-)
Thank you! <3 I had a lot of fun working on it.
